General FAQ’s

Are consultations necessary?

Consultations are an essential part of quality care. During your consultation your surgery team will:

  • Touch base with your referring doctor or physician as necessary
  • Outline your treatment options and anesthetic choices
  • Study your diagnostic materials and health history
  • Coordinate additional diagnostic records if required
  • Complete a thorough head and neck exam
  • Answer your questions
  • Review your estimated costs and discuss payment options
  • Explain your post-operative care
  • Submit an insurance prior authorization if indicated

Why do I need a new x-ray?

Oral conditions often change within a short period of time. Your treatment options are established based on your current radiographs. To assure accurate diagnosis and the best outcome, your radiographs must mirror your current situation. The Oral Surgery Center obtains radiographs only when necessary.

Do you take my insurance?

The Oral Surgery Center works with many insurance plans. The details of your particular plan determine if or how your claim may be paid. Refer to your plan benefit manual, your insurance company’s website, or call the number on the back of your insurance card for details about your specific benefits.

When is my payment due?

Estimated co-payments are due at the time of service and will be collected when you check in for your surgery.

For bills received in the mail please make your payment within 30 days. You can send it via mail using the enclosed envelope, or call us at Stillwater Office Phone Number651-233-2141 to pay by telephone.

Can I set up a payment plan?

In addition, we accept checks, money orders, cashier’s checks, most major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Samsung Pay. Please let one of our business assistants know if you would like information regarding our financing options.
