Dental Implants

Your teeth affect your whole body. When they’re healthy, you’re healthier too. Dental implants are a popular way to replace missing teeth. They will not decay, they can be brushed and flossed like natural teeth, and when cared for properly, dental implants can last a lifetime.

There are three parts to a dental implant:

  • A titanium post is inserted into your jawbone. Over time, the bone fuses to this fixture through a process called osseointegration.
  • An abutment, which is the portion of the implant that rises above the gum line.
  • A crown fitted on top of the abutment looks and feels like a natural tooth.

The cost for dental implants will vary from person to person, contact our office for a consultation and accurate cost estimate. As one of the only long-term answers for missing teeth, dental implants are a sound investment, often providing a lifelong solution without the upkeep required with bridges and dentures.

The team under Dr. Rodenburg were very professional & caring during the process of getting me ready for the implants. Following the procedure was given instructions to follow & had zero problems. I did ice off & on for two days, 30 minute intervals, zero swelling. Very pleased with everyone involved! Dr Rosenburg & Jolene, Dental Implant Coordinator both followed up to see how I was doing.

I was very nervous about getting two implants but Dr Shearen made it painless. He was encouraging and I really appreciated the narrative he provided during the procedure. It helped me to relax knowing what he was doing. And Emily was very informative and supportive. Two thumbs up!

Patient Testimonial By Deborah L

Courteous and informative-my dentist recommended the New Richmond Oral Surgery Center. And, I was treated well. From the receptionist to the surgeon, everyone took the time to explain the alternatives, cost, and procedure for the extraction of my molar. Even as I checked out, folks ensured I was steady, had bottled water, and was ready to drive home. This is a very kind staff. Thank you.
